Well, this here is a character of
 's. We were in chat and he was like, 'Hey, I want to draw a character of yours!' and I was like, 'Hey, I can't find my pencil for my current project anyway, lemme do one, too!', so we both got to work, and this is what happened! Drew it out in pencil and then watercolored it to practice watercolors... Computer paper doesn't work very well for watercolors, I should have used my sketchbook... except that's in my locker at school... and so, aside from the paper not wanting to take the water/pigment all that well, the scanner also put some weird shadows on it due to wrinklie paper.  But anyhow, Sophia Glass. She's lookin' kinda day dreamy, isn't she?  I made the colors brighter. Love bright colors! EDIT: I changed the scan... hopefully this one looks a little better, though it killed some of the highlights in the coat... All that background detailing is wrinkle in the paper, LOL. |

I really like this one. I know you didn't like the wrinkles, but I think it is a nice effect. Adds to the overall dreamy look of the piece. It fits Sophia perfectly. I can imagine her thinking of better times with friends long gone, or maybe an explosive death of an enemy that was particularly satisfying.

Ugh, I think I need therapy, everytime I pass another anime artist's page, my first reaction is to blurt out "I WISH MY STYLE WAS MORE LIKE YOURS ARTIST-SAMAAAA!" Sigh.
No offence, but I probably wouldn't like this so much without the wrinkles. I'm not a bright colors fan. Yes, I know, I live in my dark colored little world, but that's just me. Lots of other people like it anyways.
